Poor performance. Gas leaks after 2 days of installation. Service is also very poor.

I ordered 2 of these AC’s. First installed in study room and second in living room.

Seeing its efficiency and cooling capacity in the first product (for Rs 36,300) it impressed me very much. And the second AC was purchase post price fall for Rs 33,500.

Hence, definitely worth every paisa you spent on it.

PROS:

1.Recieved the product on time.
2.AC installation was done by highly experience Service personal’s.
3.Cooled my room to 20 degrees from 32 degree in just 25 mins.
4. Capable of cooling even 200 sq. Ft of room within minutes.
5.Completely Indian made desi AC in factory of India. Go for it with.
6. 5 years Warranty on condensor. Only company to provide warranty on condensor after samsung. (even brands like LG, daikin, carrier don’t provide condensor warranty).
7.Highly power efficient with Enery Rating 5.2.

Highly recommended for all the energy concise and plant loving persons.

CONS:

I have another ac of LG, Dual Inverter ( 5 Star) and when compared to it

1. LG ac functions are extremely silent at 30db where as Godrej ac functions at 42db. The difference is highly noticeable.
2. LG has more convinent remote and better User interaction. Hence making LG ac easier to use via remote than godrej
3.LG remote is more firmly built where as godrej remote fells cheap in hand.
4.LG has two very convinent modes,
A) comfort cool
B) Automatic mode( just set the temp and it will do
everything automatically)
– where as in godrej you will have to do all of it manually.

Even after all this minore drawback i will recommend buying Godrej if you are comfortable managing the temperature by your self.

बहुत ही गंदा अनुभव हुआ इस बार। गोदरेज के इंस्टालर ने जब बॉक्स खोला तो बताया की इसमें एक कॉपर पाइप गायब है। जिसकी कीमत 3000 रुपए है। इस गर्मी ऑनलाइन ऐसी इसलिए लिया था की ये जल्दी आ जाएगा। लेकिन पहली बार एमजॉन से इतना बड़ा धोखा मिला है। अभी तक लोकल वेबसाइट को शॉपिंग में इस तरह की शिकायत सुनी थी लेकिन आज एमजॉन ने यह हरकत की है। इसमें मिसिंग पाइप या तो सेलर रखना भूल गया या फिर चूक हुई है। जो भी हुआ है लेकिन मेरे लिए एक बहुत ही बुरा अनुभव रहा है। कृपया रिफंड के साथ ही इसकी जांच करवाकर उचित करवाई करें।

I am writing this review after 1 month of usage. The delivery by amazon is awesome. For installation, I didn’t do anything, amazon booked a service call for me and Godrej did the rest. As a result, the ac was installed within 48 hours of delivery. This 5 Star 1.5 ton green inverter ac is now working like a charm. However, due to some initial installation fault, the R290 refrigerant gas was licked. So it was giving inefficient cooling. But in my place Purba Barddhaman, West Bengal, Godrej service is so good that as soon as I informed, the service engineer came within one hour, checked thoroughly, & charged the gas without a single cost. This is the reason, I choose Godrej. I am using their refrigerators (3) for the last 35 years with almost zero problem. For any kind of complain, they have given me prompt hastle free services.
Now about the ac, my choice for this type of ac is due to nature friendly R290 propane gas which contains no cfc/hcfc, therefore it has zero global warming potential & gentle to ozone layer depletion. Godrej, being an Indian company is ahead by providing new technology compared to others, using the same potentially hazardous refrigerant till now. The price of the ac is on higher side but thanks to Amazon, I got it at more than 40% discount. The ac is highly efficient, within 10 minutes it reduces the temperature by ~9 degree in the extreme distant part of my 14/13/10.5 ft top floor room at afternoon when the outdoor temp is 37 deg. The air throw is excellent with fixed horizontal swing. The display on the indoor unit is small sized but show the necessary data. Remote control unit has optimum display size with a yellowish tone light. The different functions in the remote are working properly, however, it would better if the sleep mode will be little more silent but still the noise level is very much tolerable.
The outdoor unit also has less noise in full working condition. The condenser is made from aluminum with nano gold coating but considering the price, copper condenser may be provided, which have higher durability & efficiency. For extra safety, I am using a stabilizer for power fluctuations. All-over, I am satisfied with the performance of this inverter ac like my previous samsung inverter one. Hope my satisfaction will continue in future, thanks to Amazon & Godrej for their heartiest co-operation.
